About Us
Song of the Spirit was created with the goal of spiritual exploration, intuitive guidance, and thoughtful conversations about the paranormal and the unseen. We hope to create meaningful connections rooted in compassion, curiosity, and understanding.
Oh, good.
You’re here!
For a long time, we searched for environments where spiritual experiences, paranormal questions, and personal growth could be explored openly and without judgment. Song of the Spirit grew from that same desire: to create a welcoming place where curiosity is encouraged, meaningful conversations can happen, and people feel comfortable exploring both the seen and unseen parts of life.
Over the years, our journey has taken us through investigations, conventions, readings, historic locations, and countless conversations with people searching for understanding, reassurance, and connection. Whether you’ve followed our work for years or just discovered us today, we’re genuinely glad you’re here.

Michael Lewis
Michael Lewis has long been drawn to spiritual questions, paranormal experiences, and the deeper meanings people attach to the unexplained. His interest in the paranormal began early in life after hearing firsthand accounts of extreme haunting experiences that left a lasting impression on his understanding of spirituality and human experience.
Over the years, Michael has explored paranormal research, spiritual discussion, music, writing, and educational outreach with a thoughtful and reflective approach. His calm perspective and curiosity help create the welcoming, open-minded atmosphere that defines Song of the Spirit today.
Rosalyn Lewis
Rosalyn Lewis (formerly Bown) is an intuitive reader, paranormal investigator, and spiritual guide with decades of experience helping others navigate both personal and unexplained experiences. She first became involved in paranormal research in 1999 and later served as Assistant Director of a local T.A.P.S. Family Group, where she helped lead investigations and support individuals dealing with difficult or unusual experiences.
Her work has included paranormal investigations, spiritual readings, educational events, and compassionate support for people seeking understanding, reassurance, or clarity. Rosalyn’s background in psychiatric nursing and special education strengthens her grounded, thoughtful approach to both spiritual guidance and paranormal exploration.

Lights, Cameras, Ghosts:
On the Road with Ghost Hunters
Rosalyn appeared as a cast member on Season 2 of SyFy’s Ghost Hunters Academy, where she had the rare opportunity to investigate alongside Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, and Dave Tango of TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society).
From intense investigations to behind-the-scenes moments, the experience brought her to some of the most haunted locations in the country, including:
- Waverly Hills Sanatorium (Kentucky)
- The Mark Twain House (Connecticut)
- Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (West Virginia)
- Fort Delaware (Delaware)
This unforgettable journey continues to fuel Rosalyn’s passion and expertise in the field of the paranormal.

The Huntin’ Ghosts design is one of Rosalyn’s original paranormal graphics, inspired by years of investigations, events, and conversations about the unexplained. You can find it through OnlyParanormal, our shop for ghost hunters and paranormal fans.
Beyond the Evidence
For us, paranormal work has never been only about proving whether a place is haunted. It has always been about listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and honoring the stories people carry with them.
Ghosts, hauntings, and unexplained experiences can bring up fear, grief, curiosity, comfort, or a deep need to understand what happened. When we talk about the paranormal, we try to approach those conversations with the same care we bring to our spiritual work: with compassion, respect, and an open mind.
